If you’re looking for a ski resort that has VERY GOOD snow coverage, I would recommend this. I mean, I am no skier, but based on what I’ve seen, this place was fully covered in thick snow. Sunshine Village is definitely pretty in white!
The trail is beautiful. And truly an easy hike. And since we were there during winter, we got to see the frozen waterfalls! We got to see the lower and upper falls. The views are wonderful along the way. As you go up through the catwalks, you’ll see Johnston creek.
After enjoying downtown Banff for a couple days, Boniffer, Jesse, Mike and I decided to check out Lake Minnewanka, also known as the “water of the Spirits.” Lake Minnewanka is apparently the longest lake in the mountain parks of the Canadian Rockies – with 13 miles long and 466 ft deep.
So, why Banff? B has mentioned the place to me a few times, assuring me that the resort town is surrounded by cascading views of the Canadian rockies. And it is indeed a mountain paradise – from its charming town with budding fine dining, cultural and nightlife scenes, spectacular trails, picturesque mountain views, to gorgeous ski resorts.
Newbury Street is a popular destination for both tourists and locals, especially for those who love shopping. It is known for its historic brownstones that contain hundreds of shops and restaurants. As you head to the end of the street, you’ll notice a lot of high-end boutiques – near the Boston Public Garden.
Boston is a pretty cool city. For me, it's almost like a city with a lot of characters – it has that modern-culture-meets-history type of feel to it. A very diverse city. Lots of things to do, lots of duck tours, and lots of museums.
All journeys have secret destinations of which the traveler is unaware. And I found mine at the hearts of my own three adorable travel buddies.
Despite the hot temperature, I did enjoy a slice of paradise in the city. If you are visiting San Antonio, it’s almost a must to stay at the La Cantera Resort and Spa. The resort is is simply beautiful.
We always have that one style, item, or trend that we haven't tried but can’t seem to completely disregard. It lingers in the back of your mind. You pass by it on the rack, or see other girls rocking it and think, “I could never pull that off!” For me, it has always been Maxi Dresses.
The people are so nice, the city is full of history, great food, oak trees, waterparks and beaches, and very nice weather. A short visit doesn’t do justice. But with the girls having only a few days to stay, we went ahead to Charleston anyway.
At the end of the day, no matter what the food is or what it tastes like, as long as I enjoy savoring it with the people I love, there is nothing much to lose. A recipe has no soul. You, as the one eating, must bring soul to the recipe.
I admit I am a bit on the paranoid side especially when traveling overseas. But this travel tip I'm about to share is a no-brainer.
Their menu features seafood dishes with an inspired cuisine flair. I got the steamed clams -- cooked in white wine, butter, garlic, tomato, and it came with grilled bread.
What gets me more excited than the thought of going to a place I've never been to? Picking out my outfits.
Being the NC local, I decided to take the girls to the largest private home in America, the Biltmore Estate. Why not? It rivals even the most grandest and finest château in France.
